ABOUT

EXHIBITIONS & AWARDS

I make installations and films that explore our human relationships with different aspects of made and natural environments.

Wherever possible, I like to focus on places where I have a lived experience of the area or activity under study. I call this 'insider art'.

I collaborate with scientists, academics, educators, technical specialists, other artists and all kinds of people I find along the way. I am a founding director of D-Lux Festival of Light-based Art.

I'm also interested in how we interact with place through technology, and how live and historical data sources can be used to create dynamic audiovisual installations that respond to measurable changes beyond the installation space.
